I found my body lying in a road Naked, and cold. A bold casualty of Circling crows.
A primeval barn
Leans over to grin. Road signs showcase eyes That glare.
I ask Myself for direction- Crossed arms, point in opposition. I curse and kick my lifeless
Carcass-
Skeleton trees whisper Loneliness,
I have lingered too long.

Your gaze sends elephants to dance. Hot ice cream with broken glass Makes sense.
I see your bedroom eyes, Wonder about immovable this, Unstoppable that.
You catch me watching you. Desire. And pale blue eyes.
Strangers still. Familiar eyes Wait for your watching- For more than a smile.

Getting married Six days from now. I’ll give black roses

She’s a red dress from hell, Demon in the ruff.
My Elegy bedside, and She’s beaming.
Mascara snails her Smiling cheeks.
I clasp my Toe-tag Keychain, Consider.
Honeymoon at Arlington. Snow-white markers Etched in misery, I’ve found my name.

Grey malaise Slithers behind a wall Of silence,
Calls my name.
Forget flowers and smiles Give me flayed kittens
And hot sauce. Nothing like
waiting.
Reprieve flees Screams of Your undressed soul, Worry.
Patience is a mauled gazelle And I’m ready to die. Your words untrue, sound Sirens I will not resist.
